WHY COACHING:
Working in fast-paced tech start ups with tech media growth goals + the addition of a third child + a growing team + a growing role as General Counsel in-house + more visible global policy influencer in the space of privacy and ethics. The responsibilities were multiplying and the pull on her energy, time & mindshare were exponentially growing. Overwhelmed & burning out, and not excelling at any one part.
Trying to influence within a male-dominated, short-term growth focus industry, needed new, more powerful tools and strategies that worked within the system, and also in integrity with her values, mission and genuine leadership style.

Christine guided me to steer through rough times at a mid-size tech-startup, as I tried to juggle tricky power dynamics at work + upheaval at home + a team that was overwhelmed and feeling like they didn’t have the voice they needed within the company.
In our conversations, she would listen deeply and bring in all the parts – fusing intuitive insight with sharp business pragmatism, so I could see the real issues beneath the noise. She taught me how to access and trust my internal compass and make choices from that wisdom.
Nine years later, the practices, processes and perspectives she taught me and my team still remain as touchstones that we lean into to stay centered within the intense pace of the tech world.
Her mantra of Fierce Grace – hold your convictions fiercely, meet the world gracefully – is something I still feel in my core and tap into whenever I need courage and clarity.
Her own embodied, balanced leadership presence and unique holistic approach guided me to find and apply my genuine voice and presence as a leader, general counsel and advocate in more effective, meaningful and influential ways.
Within my legal department and in our orgs internal leadership programs , we introduced her quarterly Power Pauses, bringing structured, strategic reflection rituals where our hard-charging tech teams could stop, breathe, celebrate wins and decide what to carry forward. Colleagues emerged saying, “I didn’t even know I needed that.”
