Impatient? Trying to Make it Happen Now? Try this instead.

For all my impatient brothers and sisters, who want what they want now, and are making themselves a little crazy, stealing their own inner sense of calm away, stressing themselves our or criticizing themselves for not having it figured out or finished, this divine spark is for you.

I have a few confessions to make, I can be a little impatient. Okay maybe a lot. Sometimes I try to control the universe. And sometimes I put pressure on myself to make things happen faster than they are meant to – on my timeline vs the “Divine Timeline.” This is when I start feeling things like fear, like it’s all up to me, and like I gotta figure it out, now! Maybe you can relate?

I’ve been hearing from a lot of the people in my circles and whom I mentor the same types of things…

…fear that they won’t find the partner/home/job they want soon…

…judgment that they should be “farther along” or they should have x,y or z “done by now”…

…stress caused by trying to figure it all out from their minds, make a plan and make it happen now.

When this happens to you, you become a slave to your desires… projects that once felt joyful become burdens, slave drivers and things that make you feel like crap about yourself. This is so not they way it’s supposed to work.

We are meant to work with that bigger Divine power based on it’s timeline, not ours. Much of our suffering comes because we are like impatient little kids with the Divine – we want what we want and we want it now.

Stop being a brat to the Divine and start tuning into what it’s trying to show you. You’ll work less hard and be happier (SHAREABLE)
